Re: How to Explain to a Woman what Liveaboard Means ?
a REAL woman will love her man for who he is, not for what she can make him into, as that will never happen.
and a REAL man will appreciate that which his woman is capable of and share with her the life they have together.
together they can have REAL dreams and actually be happy.

Now, that is a great straight line. It could lead into some blonde jokes or other lighthearted ribbing of the distaff side.
- - But back to Don1500 - IMHO he handled his situation with both fairness and honor. I would suggest that this will save him a lot of future grief as compared to other potential couples who dream of "converting" rather than accepting each other. Being consistently "up front" with who you are and where you are going will go a long way to weeding out those who hide their true feelings or intentions in a new relationship.

If you read between the lines here and in the old CF thread - you will find out that - you can't. Anymore that a woman can explain to you what is perfectly clear to her way of thinking. You know, its the old, Men from Mars, Women from Venus thing . . . Viva la difference

No, men and woman are not all the same, but you'll lose a lot less betting for my opinion than against it.
