Re: How Many Have Sailed Offshore
I have a few recipes for python or anaconda. Favor .12 ga pump for close work, with an M-14 to keep them off you aways, and tried & true 1911 .45 for when things get stupid.

Nickle says that's exactly how we're seen by the mods!
I started screwing around with the python idea when a poster a couple of years ago mentioned going to my favorite anchorage in the Glades. I was after dissuasion but really, the mossies are fearful enough. Now I've thought about it so much I am skeered. About the time I forget it, a python eats a croc, or gator, or elephant or some dang thang.
The anchorage is well within 200nm, ergo no sailors. Jes me n dem pythons.

Yeah Gary..I re read the post and was not sure exactly what I was writing. I think I was saying that the biggest critics where those that remains anonymous with little or no information on there profiles. If you wish to criticize at least have the guts to give us information as to your expertise relating to your experiences. That's just my opinion but I was sitting out a predicted cyclone in a narrow insect riden Creek.

Not quite. It is a dynamically positioned semi submersible, so all I do is ballast up for tow and ballast back down for the field. Here it is at transit draft, notice the thruster domes are clear of the water line. 32,000 tons with (6) 5000 hp electric thrusters to hold position or transit in the field.

Thanks, but all pictures were taken with the very first Sony digital camera that used a floppy (remember those 1.44 mb), so res is very low.
Yours truly...
