How I met my boat mate

I met my mate with the help of my friends.
I'd just come home from some US white boat work, and a mate gave me a roof and some bar shifts at the local bowling club to bring in a bit of cash. After a few weeks I ran into another old mate who was running charters on Sydney harbour on a beautiful AC 12 metre. He needed someone to do a couple of days a week so ....
Another few weeks, and a lovely Dutch/Irish traveller walks into the bar, and, as I've told her many times, she was the youngest girl in there by about 30 years 😄 so I surely noticed her. We got talking, and I invited her out to see my other job. She liked it.
16 years later and 2 kids. We've got a tinny and 4 canoes and too many surfboards. Been through some deliveries and a trailer sailer. Just getting into the next phase. Family cruising😍
