Talking Hi all out here

I do have a Colvin steel Gazelle
Loa 54, LWL 42, Beam 12,Draft 4, dry 26000 LBS.

I'm in need of an autopilot NMEA working with opencnp,

My Radar, sounder, fishfinder does. All new, do have Raymarine engine, small one, generator, watermaker, diesel cooker with two water coils.

I'm very good with Linux, rather techy. With autopilot i'm totally lost.

I'm sailing since decades, Gazelle is my first boat I do own. I did meet twice mister Colvin, got two of his books, have been sometimes in China.

I do not have a glue where to post this stuff in this forum.
It is not aDIY project.
The autopilot has to have NMEA 0183 or 2000

Is any soul out giving me a hint, an idea,a link.
gracias Sarah

Re: Hi all out here

tinyilot. Check with Sean, a tinypilot and a motor controller from Sean and then a drive unit that works with your boat. Or you can use pypilot directly from opencpn on a rpi.

Re: Hi all out here

No, tinypilot is an autopilot controller. You can use whatever drive you want. For example a linear drive, hydraulic drive, a wheel pilot drive.

I use it with a CPT drive, although I also use the original CPT controller.

CPT is a great autopilot, but does not talk NMEA.
