This might be a bit goofy but what about spoofing the spelling of gypsy

JIPsea Soul

If you did the fonts right and made the IP big enough on the transom it might work...

You'd still be explaining what Jipsea means a heck of a lot...

You could also do "JIPsea Sole" and explain to people that the boat is named is named after a "Wandering Internet Fish"

OK it's getting late I need some sleep - LOL...

Re: Help us Name our Boat

Congratulations. Great boat.

My favorite names would be "Gypsy's Whisper" or "Whisper Ship" or maybe "Whoosh" which is another member's boat name.

Anyway, I hope you can find something that appeals to you both like. I don't care for "Reboot" but that might be a possibility.

RazzMatazz

Forget the cute stuff only insiders might get. Make it something everyone can remember AND easy to pick up on the radio. For town name, maybe you can find one with the I-P reference or business related.

Re: Help us Name our Boat

Why does everyone want a boat name with pun? Always something to do with wind or water. I could stand never seeing another Serenity, Second Wind, or Seas the Day, Summer Wind, or Aquaholic. Or anything like it. Just pick something that means something to you that you want to be known by.

Re: Help us Name our Boat

Don't name it this. Just saw a sailboat named "Pole Dancer" with a painted logo that looked like it belonged on the mud flap of a truck.

That's a good point that I don't think has been reinforced on this thread.

As a boatie you will be known by your boat name a lot.

"Have you seen Pole Dancer lately" or "Pole Dancer Crew" would be a common query.

Make sure it's something you can live with...
