Ca ptloyd, he never even mentioned....warring. Till now, china has only been able to make war with close neighbors, Tibet, Vietnam, India,Russia. And even then they have had to be very careful not to let it escalate to all out war. Now they mainly just bully and intimidate various neighbors like Taiwan, philippines, australia, etc.

Simi, the fentanyl comes from china. Its sent in illegally. They know who is making it and his home address which theyve given to the gov there. And the chinese gov doesn nothing. Its an enemy country that is happy it can get away with killing so many americans without blowback. Except for those of us that boycott their products. Boaters, join in.

Taliban now in charge,
no more Americans to kill?
They'll hook up the Chinese,
And continue the job with Fentanyl.

You say I does

As pointed out and linked to, the actual evidence says it mostly comes from Mexico
But, if you and your ilk are dumb enough to buy it and use it I guess you are dumb enough not to read as well.

It's the same sort of dumb that thinks everything Chinese is rubbish
And it's the same sort of dumb that thinks that covid was made by China

Just about every manufactured item we buy in North America is made in China, or has significant Chinese components in them. This includes appliances, autos, medical devices, and so on.

Because of this, we all know that China IS capable of manufacturing to a high level, with direction. Most of the preferred name-brand outboards are also made in China. I have done some selective purchasing of Chinese products; some have disappointed, but some have been good purchases. One of my favourite microprocessor chips was designed in China. They dominate in EV components, including electric buses.

Trading with China creates interdependence, which reduces the chances of a shooting war.

If you're serious about your boycott of Chinese products, that means you'll be going offline, so goodbye and good luck.

The chinese use the mexican cartels to get the fentanyl in. I didnt say everything chinese is rubbish, making that false assumption is as dumb as saying the Wuhan flu came from the states, or Uruguay or Finland.

I don't buy Chinese products if I can find a replacement. There is no good reason to contribute to their economy.

Wuhan flu

an informal term for COVID-19, mostly seen as indicative of the xenophobia related to the pandemic

I think as time goes on people will forget what quality was once upon a time and accept poor quality as the norm.

I've been boycotting them for over 30 years. It's impossible to do it 100%. But I at least try to educate the younger folk coming up behind me who did not live a time when we took quality for granted. Now the disposable society has become the norm.

Re: Hangkai Chinese Engines - $225 New

From the article
Quote:
A Post Magazine investigation traces back to China supply lines of chemicals used by cartels to produce the opioid
So a company in China makes chemicals
And somone else in another country then uses those chemicals to make fentanyl
Yet for you that = China makes fentanyl.

Gee, I wonder who makes the items used in bombs?
Do you hold mobile phone makers, wire makers, bolt makers, fertiliser makers responsible?

How about foods?
Do you hold suppliers of food responsible for obesity?

Are adult beverage manufactures responsible for drunk drivers or is that the car manufacturers fault?
And on that theme, a sane and normal person would blame neither.
Clearly it's the driver of the vehicle who is a fault.

Same argument could be used with opioids.
It'not the maker of a chemical who is to blame
Or necessarily the maker of the drug
It's the dumb Muppet who buys the drugs and ingests them who is ultimately to blame.
