Try Ronco for a replacement, they may have been original supplier.

Hmmm..I called Ronco plastics 2 months ago. A lady there said they no longer serve Cape Dory and that thy no longer keep the molds or plans for water tanks. This was very hard to believe. So, Im still trying to figure out a plan. Ideally I want to stay with the original, but cant seem to seal the leak. Or get a new tank made, but don't know where because a company would need the exact specs.

My CD33 mid water tank is polyethylene. I have sucessfully "welded" that material before with a torch and scrap tupperware.

Just measure your tank and find a Ronco or other supplier size that works. You dont have to tell them it is "cape dory"
There are other manufacturers though with better tanks. Custom plastic tanks aren't that expensive either, welded poly with 1/4-3/8" thick walls etc.
