God Save the Queen!

Let's congratulate all of our British and Commonwealth friends with QEII's 95 birthday!! God Save the Queen!

Dash me with amorous wet . . . . I can repay you."

Cutting the cake with a sword.

Wish she was young enough still to give it a good whack and make it more funny. Ha ha

She is one year younger than my Aunt. They both have a lot of spunk. It is great to watch.

Re: God Save the Queen!

The Queen is the only "leader" in the world I would wish to sit down and have a long chat.

I hope she has written a book about her time as queen that will be published one day. Well, I guess it should be two books, or maybe one book with an addendum, that will not be published until X decades after her death. Her opinions on other "leaders" of the day would be very interesting as well as what she thought of government policy over the decades of her reign.

A UK without the Elizabeth is going to be strange. I am not that impressed with Charles, and to be fair, he will be following a class act that will be hard to follow and be compared.

Later,
Dan
