Re: Galley up pilothouse?

The older Southerly had galley up.

A lot of the French aluminum pilothouses were set-up that way since it was the only place that had standing headroom.

One of my favorites is a Haliotis 38.... again, only standing headroom in the pilothouse, but that made the sheerline so beautiful.

Re: Galley up pilothouse?

LM32 - A bit smaller, but you'll have to accept loosing something to gain a pilothouse. These have a good "sailing hull shape" (fin keel and saildrive) and the pilothouse does not look like a doghouse slapped on as an afterthought.
Not really for off shore as it doesn't have a watertight bridge deck. Nice to be warm and toasty at the inside helm when it's snotty out.

Would still own it but family outgrew it so had to upsize for additional berths. I realize it isn’t in your 33’ to 40’ criteria but what is one foot between sailors?
Any reviews on this boat I see them around the pnw look like a fun boat I need a pilot house for in the snow. Thanks
