From her vantage point...
My wife and I drove out to Lake Carlyle over in Illinois yesterday to look at a, '83 Catalina C27 and snapped this shot from the cockpit.

When anchor lights get that bright they can be confused by others for the sun. Better to put a lower watt bulb in it.

That is what happens when you connect a MPPT solar charger to a Smartgauge using a KISS counterpoise and route the resulting NMEA output over TCP/IP...
