Our head is the incredibly simple/reliable Levac. Other than replacing two "valve rebuild
kits" on the diaphragm
, it's been no hassle for the 13 years it has been on the boat
We carry 4 anchors. The primary on the bow is a 35# Delta
, and the others are all Fortresses. The small one is for "Bahamian mooring" along with the primary. We have a large one to use as backup, or double up in predicted gales... AND we carry a HUGE "hurricane anchor", broken down in it's bag and stored low in the hull
. (Done "the H drill" over a dozen times now, and still don't like it!)
The center cockpit
has your body on the "center of gyration". It is really cool, kinda like wearing the boat
, rather than riding on it's back!
