At least seagull poop washes off with a hose.

While I'm on the subject, turtle poop has an unbelievable smell. Ask any shrimper on the east coast USA.

The stuff that seagulls gak up on my deck isn't exactly a dozen roses. Kind of like bird hair balls. I get lucky sometimes a Bald eagle will swoop down and eat one of the little darlings. Just not enough Bald eagles, but then their poop is not very nice either.
