Engine upgrade

Hi all I have an md5a Volvo penta and would like to fit the bigger md7b in place. Would it just bolt in .Thanks in advance

Really? what are you hoping to gain by fitting such an old engine? is the MD7b available nearby at a give away price? if not how about fitting something still second hand but more modern?

I haven't used these folk, but if mine goes bang, then they will be one of the first ports of call for a replacement.

Sorry no, but also you will need to think about then applying any extra power with a bigger propeller to make use of the increase.
