Dull hull. Rough Teak rub rail.

I'm going to bring back the hull shine with Poly Glow. I've had very good experiences with it in the past. The rub rail is heavy teak that has to be brought down to bare wood and refinished. What to do first? Refinish the teak first and protect it from the from Poly Glow? Do the hull and protect it from the teak refinishing? Ideas please.

I would do the teak first since if you inadvertently get the PolyGlow in the porous teak it may prevent proper adhesion of the varnish/Cetol finish. The fiberglass would, in theory, be easier to clean. As for the teak, I strongly recommend Cetol which we have used for 20 plus years with excellent results. Good luck and safe sailing. P.S. Teak last, or just let it go silver. I agree that the polish part of the Poly Glow might polymerize in the teak, and that would interfere with whatever finish you might want to put on it. However, it is a rubbing strake, so going au natural is good, too.
