Re: Don't Pay The Ferryman...

Boat man, go to the local bank and open an account,
Then put your BSB number and account number up on here, The bank will tell you how to do it,
Then we can deposit funds for you, To help you out, Not all of Aussies are DeadC##ts like those two parasites.

Hope your lawyer sticks them to the mast, Sorry about the language, But these two make my blood boil,
Cheers
Brian,

Re: Don't Pay The Ferryman...

Boatman has an Australian bank account. As of a few days ago. Just pm him and get the account info. I would like to urge my fellow Australian members here to help Phil with a few dollars if you can. That doesn't exclude our overseas friends but I understand there are other costs involved if you want to chip in.

I'm sorry to hear you got burnt mate - especially by an Australian. Unfortunately, Australia is a melting pot of people from all over the world, which brings with it both good and bad contributions to our country. I would say 30 years ago, a handshake would have sufficed and you would have been paid your dues. Today, Australians don't necessarily have that sense of fair play that was built from the struggle our recent generations. My apologies to you as an Australian.

Boats,

Glad you are doing ok, but keep us informed as to your needs, (the price of a beer there is criminal, perhaps you can have your law dog look into that too).

You might want to use PMs and some posts seemed to have disappeared into the black hole.

Re: Don't Pay The Ferryman...

For those that don't know what this is all about here's a bit of what happened. Boatman did a delivery to Australia which took I think about 7 months. Once he got the boat to its destination there was no payment for his services forthcoming. He is now stuck in Perth Western Australia without any money. He is being helped with somewhere to stay and other support by forum member Wotname. If anyone would like to give Phil some financial assistance to help him through this period you can pm Boatman61 or Wotname and get his bank account details. If you are going to post something be a bit carefull what you say as this issue is being pursued by a legal entity acting on Phil's behalf. Also we don't want to cause too much stress for the moderators.

Need to have their finances researched if the firm has a, ahem, researcher. I know from a PI friend here their firm and most others have computer wizards gathering all sorts of data out from behind firewalls. Or maybe you don't need damages. Good luck.

Re: Don't Pay The Ferryman...

Guys - Seriously...

Let's keep our legal advice to ourselves - Boatman has a lawyer.

Let's keep comments about the other party "generic."

Let's use this thread to keep Boatman's spirits up and learn how to contribute if we want to.

The mods are sympathetic but they can't break the rule of CF not being the place to iron out differences, personal attacks, yada, yada. Their hands are tied and they will be forced to close the thread.

OTOH - My PayPal transfer took like 15 seconds for a worthy cause and it was way easier than standing up to my tits in human feces lifting Jay's boat off the beach - LOL...

Hang in there Phil!

Re: Don't Pay The Ferryman...

My bad. I forgot the other parties to this disgusting affair are members of CF. It was not meant as real legal advice tho', but more just a cheer to go to it. Hell, I avoid lawyers even more than I do doctors.

Agree

Mr Boatman, I will post here to give you advice in how to pick up your spirits and cheer you up

The following are a few suggestions that work for me

When I'm frustrated and upset I find that going shopping and buying crap that I don't really need takes my mind off my troubles

Scratch that idea....you have to money

Go on a road-trip to take you away from it all
I go away for a weekend, and try out new eats/drinks and meet new people

Maybe that has to be scratched as well....you have no money

Sometimes I just need my own space, to be alone for a while, nice peace and quiet

Scratch that one off......you and Geof "Wotname" are now roommates

Oh my goodness, this is not working and I have run out of idea's

Anyways Phil , your CF family here are wishing you well

Alex
