Costa Rica / Panama charts

Hi everyone -

I'm going on a small boat cruise next week in Costa Rica and Panama, and was looking for a chart that I could use to follow our adventures in my cabin. Can anyone point me towards a PDF or purchasable chart of the Panama Canal and surrounding area?

The ultimate reference for all of Panama is the Bauhaus guide.

I dont like to encourage piracy of such a great product, but there are digitized versions of his charts out there.

Navionics is not bad for Canal area and Pacific coast (pretty poor for San Blas though).

I use a combination of Navionics & Bauhaus for kayaking/sailing in Golfo de Chiriqui (beautiful area).

You may just meet father or son in the area, so don't be a pirate. It's a beautiful book anyway.

Its too bad Bauhaus doesnt make his charts availble electronically, and the whole guide for that matter. I would buy them in a heart beat. I do own the paperbook so feel OK about scanning copies for my use...sure is handly under OpenCPN on my tablet at the helm.
