Connecting AIS to Ipad, someone can help?

Hi folks,
I have just bought a miniplex 3WI N2K, in order to connect a Em-Trak R100 AIS to a IPAD Air2, or a IPAD4.
The AIS is now connected to a Raymarine C70 Chart Plotter, and it works fine, but I wanted to have it also sending information to the Ipad, so the need of something like the miniplex above.
Question is, HOW can I do it, my knowledge of electronics and wireless transmission, as well as codes like NMEA or SeaTalk is very restricted.
Does any one have any experience on this matter?
