Coming down in May

Been to Abaco several times. How is the weather in May?

Starting to get hot and sticky, but not as bad as in June-October or hurricane season. I usually try to get out of the Abacos before the end of May, but there are many who like to cruise there during the late spring/early summer. By May you don't get many cold fronts of any significance and they are short lived, so the winds and weather tend to be calmer. Though, you will get some more thunderstorms starting to pop up. Some people prefer it in May as the water is warmer than in the winter months, which they like for diving.
