Cleaning up after the Sea Gulls

Started to put our "new to us boat" to bed for the winter. After spending many years sailing inland lakes I finally got my ocean boat last fall. The Gulls and Cormorants really enjoyed our boat as evidence by the mess they left us every few days. I did the periodic spot cleaning all summer, but now that all the canvas is off. Any recommendations on giving the sail covers, Bimini, Awning, etc a good through cleaning and retreating with a water repellant .
