Atoll’s experience echoed our own. But what we did when we started with three-year-old twins was have them in the same
hull as us. Especially at first, since they can get easily turned around in a new space. It also gave us peace of mind, which we felt trickled down to them. Once they were six or so, we switched things around and were comfortable with them being in the other hull- mainly because we were confident that they could reliably understand and take direction. YMMV
