Canaries to Portugal - October

Ive done the usual trip down a few times, but never back. Any comments on the reverse to the usual, ie back to Portugal. It tends to be all N or NEs in my experience and the current is against it too.

Any one done this, I can see a lot of diesel in my plans.

Are you right, you need a lot of diesel and beer for sailing in Spanish coast, the win is crazy and inconstant :-)
