Bareboat Koh Samui

Hi there
We are doing a 1 week bareboat charter from Koh Samui Thailand in July. Can anyone give us advice about making the best use of our week's sailing? We want to go to Ang Thong but also spend a few days around Koh Samui.

Ko Tao, for diving. Koh Phangan has plenty of nice bays with resorts/restaurants and some uninhabited. The wind us mainly from the west this time of year and the sea is shallow off the western beaches of Phangan. So the eastern side is worth a look.

I can definitely recommend Koh Tao keep to the eastern side of the island to avoid the tourist traps not far from the harbour on the western side

Ang thong is also well worth a look.

Don't p#ss off the Thai Mafia in Samuii, at least not those who wear uniforms - could make yer week last a bit longer.......
