Re: Anyone up for a Putt?

Oh yeah....

I ride, and love it! Although I only have a sporty, it is the 1200 and it is faster than most other Harleys. I don't get to ride as much as I want to but I do ride. At leat once a year I ride to the mountains for a week.

I rebuilt a 87 FLHS from the frame out a few years ago. My little evo gained the respect of many twin cams in the area, she had some "special" mods. Sold her to further my sailing addiction which I don't regret. But, I do miss her at times like these. Twist a grip for me ladies and gents!

Done right them EVO's can kick some ass, not that any have been able to to pass my twinky...yet.... but then again, my twinky has some "special" mods as well.
This is what it use to look like...and what it looks like now. Hell the paint job alone gave me an extra 5 hp.

It's always a struggle in the short Maine summer to go riding or sailing for a bike nut.I find more money in the kitty for cruising now that I have fewer bikes. My last Ducati crotch rocket was a v twin of 872 CC s and made 125 hp. It would do nearly 180 mph if you had the stones. Too old for that now. 5 kt under sail seems much more relaxing.
