Amphitrite 43 replacing the engine

Has anyone had experience of replacing an engine? My husband is removing our Perkins 4236 and replacing it with a Beta 90. Henri Wauquiez always told us that the floor of the cockpit was removable in order to remove and replace the engine. Does anyone know whether the floor is stuck down with adhesive or is it bedded on rubber (like the sail locker). Sincerely hope it is not stuck but would appreciate confirmation!
I have asked the yard but there is no-one there who worked for them when the Amphitrite was produced.

Hello, Marina-88, Yes, I did it. You have to remove the steering-column, that means you will have to partly disassemble the steering mechanism. Then you remove the screws around the edge of the cockpit floor, screws from above, nuts from below, that means, You need two persons. The rubber sealing is sticky, You will have to use some force to lift and remove the cockpit floor.
