a prospect, pompano beach, fl

would anyone here be able to swing by a place and give a boat a quick once over?
i would need someone who knows a bit about teak.
its under contract just now until the 30th, but i doubt it will sell for the offered price. it needs new engines and generator. as well as teak work.
only thing i need to know does the fiberglass hull seem sound, and is the teak repairable.

let me know. thank you.
i would rather not drive 1400 miles to see a worthless boat.
and frankly if the hull is worthless you might as well chop it up.

Why don't you ask the seller, he should know that... ?

donated to charity. there was an insurance claim on the boat from rain water accumulation. and the teak is very rough looking.

From the picture my guess is those decks are a wreck. If you are lucky and still have some thickness to them, you may get away with removing the caulk, a thorough cleaning and sanding then re-caulk. IMHO.

I'll be in Pompano Beach tomorrow about noon to look at a boat and I may be able to take a quick look for you.

PM me some details, your email and a contact number....
