A damned good read.

Since I was a little kid I've loved reading sailing story's and watching sailing movies. I'm watching " Master and Commander " as I type. LOL. Well I recently retired, bought my first sailboat and am living my childhood dream in my little part of the world.
Along with the boat, Ive made a new friend, a Brit that has sailed the world for most of his life with his wife. Amongst his many talents, he is an author. He sent me a copy his first published book. The first of three, all of his own adventure's of his life and time's sailing the world. The Title is "Everyone Said I Should Write A Book", the author, Jonathan White. I'm enjoying it so much I wanted to share it with all here. I don't have any vested interest other than sharing a good read, and the talents of great guy, my friend Jon.

Sounds good. Really enjoyed Master and Commander too. The line about the lesser of two weevils was a classic!

Yes, three all together and working on a 4th. I've sure been enjoying reading the first and look forward to the next 3.

HA HA, that was a great line!! I also really liked the old sailor with " HOLD FAST" tattooed across his knuckles. Just a great movie with great acting!
