Nick, you will definitely have a better chance of finding a good deal in the Boston area vs. Maine.

What kind of boat are looking for, and where do you plan to sail it?

Speedo,

I am looking for a 38' - 45' sloop capable of crossing oceans. I have a few models I like, but I am staying open to anything, as my budget is not large. I do not plan on buying a boat for at least another year, but if the right boat at the right price comes along, I may purchase sooner. Right now I just enjoy getting out to see boats and being able to crawl inside and see what is availble. You can't do much of that in Minnesota.

Thanks,
Nick

Call Bernie at Rogue Wave in Annapolis - He usually has a good listing of older, smaller off-shore boats.

Simpson Bay Lagoon, St Marten.....Lots of nice blue-water equipped boats there, people take the first leg of their lifes dream and discover they aren't sailors.
