insurance ratings companies (AM Best, S&P, Fitch). There are a few companies going by the name of Albion on the web; If you're talking about the one in
Barbados they are quite a small company- they list their capital as $55 Million, which is actually very small for an insurance company. By comparison, Markel, which is is big company, but certainly not the largest, lists their holdings as $9,478 million in their 2008 annual report. I know many of you are not fans of the insurance industry, but you do want to be insured with a company that has deep enough pockets to pay claims when the next Ivan or Katrina comes around.
