A good clue is that the boat photo was taken at The Boat Works, Coomera, Qld, Australia
But a bit of further googling reveals it's at The Great Sandy Straits Marina, Urangan, Hervey Bay

You can see the Boatworks sign on the travel lift at the extreme left of the photo
Here's the business:

Greetings and belated welcome aboard the CF, shiro.
Might this also be a 'goodby'?

Re: Whale watching business / boat for sale
Wow, looks like a real fine power boat. I’d have to wonder if there are enough folks (and enough acceptable weather) to generate the income that a vessel of that value would require?
Good luck

Re: Whale watching business / boat for sale
Dear Shiro,
Thanks for your posting. You're obviously in the wrong country for business brokers! In Canada when I sold my business about 5 years ago using a broker there were no upfront costs for me to pay and a flat 10% commission when sold payable to the broker.
Three possible options might be:
A- Use a remote broker from elsewhere which in today's world is likely doable?
B- Pay an effective individual who is extremely marketing and computer savvy to put together the marketing program and you field the queries?
C- Try another type of broker?
Good luck!
Niall.

There are lots of people wanting to see the whales..And we are very protected by Fraser Island..so it's a big yes on both counts..Oh and our population of whales is ever increasing..great business but we are over 60 and want to retire..

Re: Whale watching business / boat for sale
Well, one thought is to market the package in the US. Assuming the Aussie government would allow an alien to operate the business, there are beaucoup people of means (say in California) who want out. I was talking earlier today with a woman who just sold her business here on the east coast to such a buyer, for more money than she expected. Who knows, your posting here on this forum might result in a sale- I’d consider it, but I’m older than you and don’t have the energy.

Re: Whale watching business / boat for sale
and spread the word yourself
to other whale watch operators in other locations including NZ
to other operators in this type of business (adventure tourism)
use a business broker in other locations/countries - people in NZ are looking to get out of here and see Aust as a great place to go to - brokers here generally take a commission after sale
Good luck

For instance, on your own website.
