That's it right there, excellent
advice. We found our Carver 32 on Craigslist, 800 miles away. We bounced down to the Dallas area on a quick weekend
inspection and offered 50% of the asking
price. The seller laughed, told us he couldn't take that offer in a million years, forget it, no way, waste of time. We were friendly, said goodbye, had a nice dinner in Dallas and flew home. A month later we got an
email from the seller out of the blue accepting our offer. Patience, patience, and don't fall in love with one
boat. Good
advice. A great deal will eventually fall into your lap if you're patient and you can walk away.
