State boat registration fees: YOUCH!

Well, it's that time, the state of Florida wants me to register my boat again so they can get some more of my money. I apparently have not been paying enough everything else tax...

40' Sailboat: $196.88
9' Dinghy: $13.50

My big boat was about $170 last year... Can't wait to see what they will charge next year... ~sigh~

Of course you are paying the eveything else taxes. They throw you in jail if you don't. I hope you paid the sales tax too. There is a penalty if you didn't.

Frankly, at $170 you are getting off pretty cheap.
