Referrals for Surveyor, Rigger, Engine Mechanic and Dry Storage in Miami, FL

Hi All,

I am getting ready to make an offer on Morgan 382, and I would need referrals in the Miami area for:
- A good surveyor for surveying a boat meant to go offshore
- A rigger (the insurance wants a rigging survey)
- A engine mech. (again, the insurance wants an engine survey)
- A location for dry storing (inside/protected from sun & wind if possible) in the Miami area, or in broader Florida if you know a very good one. The boat will be stored there for 6 months.

Thank you very much for your help
Cheers
Philippe

Surveyor - Ed Rowe. 772-589-7463, eroweassoc@comcast.net

Rigger - Sailing Services, www.sailingservices.com

80 Northwest 73rd Street
Miami, FL 33150-3504
(305) 758-1074

In my opinion these two are the best in the business in south FL.

Hi There Phboujon..

I sent you a private message on the forum. I know of many reputable boat vendors in the area to help you get your Morgan squared away. Hope you enjoy the Morgan! they are classic boats. What year?

Hi,

I realized I didn't thank for those recommendations! I hired Ed to survey the boat, and he did an awesome job. I will highly recommend him for the future.

Thanks as well for the other recommendations, I kept those references for a near future.

Cheers
Philippe
