Hello All
We have been Members here for quite awhile and we use the motto of use your eyes and ears twice as much as your tongue, "So not many post"
We are planning of a
purchase of a
Multihull in the next 2-3 years, I am researching as much as we can to get all info we would need on the
ownership of such a
Boat.
We live in the
Florida Keys and when we get a
Multihull we will home port the Vessel here at our
Dock in Marathon
Florida. There are limited Haul outs here in Marathon for a Beam of 25 feet. As I understand during
hurricane season many
Insurance companies want the
Boat on the hard or ability to move the boat out of Harms way. I have the ability to have a
Lift installed that would
Lift the Multihull out of the
water on a
cradle lift and Then be supported out of the
water. Would one think this would meet the requirement of being safely
on the hard ?
The lift would be engineered to Support the Vessel easily above the water getting it 4-6 feet above Mean high tide. I don't think even some boats on the hard could achieve that.
Thanks for any input in the mater
Regards
