Purchase Offers in Europe

We are on the verge of buying a boat to further explore the European inland waterways. The boats of choice are all represented by a broker. I have owned several boats and know the are a lot of variables. The boats in question are between 38 and 45 feet, 2000-2006 launch and all are in the $150,000 to $250,000 range.

If you have real experience on the negotiated difference b between asking price and actual purchase price, I would appreciate your experience opinion.

Where are you located and can you go look at the boat in person? IMO wouldn't give a price based on pics or broker information and would want to look over the boat myself.

Be nice to narrow it down to a few models that you were specifically interested in possibly purchasing. What is the max. to do the inland waterways, could be a key trait to narrow your search.
Find reviews that specifically mention problems w/that model and look for them when you go look at the boat in person.

Many variables to negotiate the price including condition and length of time on the market.

Boats, caravans and motorhomes etc are selling like hot cakes at the moment due to no one being able to really travel for foreign holidays. In your price range you are probably outside the majority demand but the market is very active at the moment.
