I recently attempted to
purchase from a site named "Boat
Cabin & Galley" at galleypromo.com A friend had come across them and mentioned it to me. They were advertising incredibly discounted prices; as my friend said "To Good To Be True" - most likely the case.
Anyhow my credit card declined the charge and it appears that the charge has been stopped. The bank identified as possible fraudulent charge.
Upon further
research all the
flags were there but not super apparent. They gave an address that on the page seemed legit. When looked up it gives a partial match.
When I checked a SCAM site it was indicated as 50% due to huge discounts, short life time, no social links.
If anyone has done business with this entity I would like to know if it was a good experience.
Just wanting to alert others trying to be frugal that it may cost us more in the end.
