Hmmm... so there goes my ability to provide for lean, low fat, chemical and anti-biotic free wild meat which my doctor advises is far better for me then any farm raised beef?

Naaaa..... keeping my rifle and shotgun. Luckily hurricane season coincides at least partially with hunting season.

Well AVB3, good that you're keeping them, better in your hands than in someone's that you don't know.

Re: money money money

@97fxdw not a joke, no. I've carried a rifle, and would do so again for my country, and I have nothing against hunting for food. What I don't agree with is selling weapons off to people you do not know.

Re: money money money

My only addiction besides boat stuff now is tools, still. You'd think that with about $85,000.00 invested already that I'd have enough but no. Now I've convinced myself that I need (need) a set of huge sockets just to fit the through-hull nuts.
All of my house stuff is gone. I'm glad the bank stole my house because they had to get rid of a HUGE pile of crap that won't fit on a boat.
Now I'm trying to compartmentalize. This will be needed to get the boat in the water, so it's on the first list. That will make it sailable so it's on the second list. This will aid navigation or creature comfort necessities so it goes on list #3. That is cruising gear, list #4. Everything else comes from the grocery store or the Goodwill until the boat is done. I DO NOT need any $60.00 pants, I need $4.00 pants.
I still need to sell a lot of car stuff. Anyone need any Porsche racing gears?

i will say that i FULLY excercise my constitutional right! the only time you would find me walking around without ATLEAST my S&W 9mm is....well....uh....hhhrrrmmmm....never. as for hunting....i find a bow more sporting....somewhat... using peeps and fiber optic sights on bows even degrades the sport of it lol.

Re: money money money

OK, so this kind of turned into a gun thread, but let's not turn it into a "hurt Loop's feelings" thread. He's new around here. If somebody needs to get their feelings hurt, try Sailing Anarchy for that.

We are doing the same. Moved to a smaller town house with tiny low maintenance garden and 150 yard walk to the shops. Ditched the 4x4 and now run a pair on little european diesel cars. Oldest wants to join the Army in the Autumn so that's one gone, just need to marry off the other
