iPad only?

Hi
Hope this is in right forum.
Should we only be looking at using an iPad iPad onboard for PredictWind, charts, etc? Or can we use an HP or Samsung laptop?
All suggestions and advice welcome please.
Thanks

Re: iPad only?

I have used iPad as main navigating tool, predict wind etc for several years. Works well. Used to have a laptop but iPad is better and less space. Small chart plotter dragonfly at helm and that’s it. iPad allows easy download of weather, wind charts etc, predict wind courses and transfer to nav software.

Re: iPad only?

We’ve been using an iPad in a Lifeproof nuud case almost exclusively for ten years for navigation and weather. For weather, I prefer Weather4D over all other weather apps and I’ve used them all.
