Insurance companies for Carib and South Pacific???

Hi gang,

Appears Irma and Maria really rattled the market and my existing carrier is no longer renewing, nor can my agent find any good options for us. Looking for some names of companies for who you all are using. Particularly ones that would cover Panama Canal and South Pacific crossing. We are gearing up to make that trek in Feb/March 2019.

Also, if you are comfortable sharing the percentage of hull value you pay for the premium. The one and only quote we received from Pantaenius is 2.6% which is double what we paid last year.

Thanks!

Myers

If your rate is 2.6% of agreed value for full coverage , I would say that was pretty good based on what I'm paying for coastal waters in US.

Ask Topsail for a quotation. They cover all parts of the world and also work with OCC yachts all the time.
