Re: How much to pay for someone else's improvements?

I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I admit I know little about that boat, but to me its pretty ugly boat. The interior looks great though. No way imo he will see it at that price for whats in it, but then again, a sucker is born every minute. It does look good from a certain standpoint. But then I look at some of his choices and wonder about it. Like 2 home ac units when he just put in a mountain of money, I would have put in a chilled water system. But for a lot less you can have this one https://www.yachtworld.com/boats/197...owse%20listing and do the rest yourself. Didn't look at the other cals cause it's not my kind of boat. I think for coastal cruising in mexico it would be great, or a marina boat. But then I don't know the breed. I read his thoughts, and just because 6 of them or whatever circumnavigated doesn't mean they are great boats. But plastic is forever, and I think he did put some money into it. Just not his own time it seems cause that is the only way you get to that price point, I think.
But good luck to him and I hope it doesn't sit long, its a killer on boats.

Sounds like money laundering.

The boat would be snapped up at a grossly inflated price if that were the case
