Medical Insurance for Europeans
Hi, I have read all the posts (well most of them) about medical insurance but they all seem to relate to Americans, they need far greater insurance coverage due to their lack of 'free' healthcare at home. Does anyone have any advice on companies that will insure Europeans just for emergency cover and repatriation to home country, sailing only outside of the US.

There are many international medical insurance products that sell to multinationals from the EU all of these will double for cruisers. There are about 10 providers from the UK that do private medical insurance for expats. There are 3 or 4 from other European countries that sell to other nationals. There are a few US providers that have lower cost premium areas that exclude the USA. I've been to the international health insurance conferences in Venice, Prague, Seville, and Vienna the last 4 years and I know them all. I'm a Canadian in the business arouth@medexplan.com.
