Getting imported a SSB from US into Europe

hi sailors, engineers and officers,
My yacht is a -non -EU vessel and sailing around Europes/Africas coast.
I want to buy in the US an ICOM SSB M-802 + AT 140
Now is my question: How do I get the equipment from the US w/o paying duty and Tax on my yacht. I'm living in Switzerland.
I can have the equipment sent to Germany, France or f.i. Gibraltar.
I have a novice certificate for radioamateures and my certificate for Long range.
The US Suppliers want to add about $ 600 for import duties in Europe. I think that a bit too much.
How can I avoid this?

Ideas??
