Does anybody have any experience registering a vessel in the BVIs?

Just a tiny word of warning. A friend of mine had a boat in the UK under one of these kind of arrangements and he said that life was made more complex in many tiny ways. Customs want to look a little closer at you, marinas and insurance brokers and shipyards are a tiny bit wary that there's something going on that they don't understand and they can be a little more careful to make sure they get their money without having to risk lawyers. There's a price to pay for being the boat that's set up in a slightly cute way.
