From where.. Yacht Haven Grande?? I think they thought you said 380' and not 38. Check Compass Point, Independent Boat Yard Marina, Crown Bay Marina, or Saga Haven Marina. You'll find it closer to $14.00/ft. Possibly 16 by now. Water will be .16/gallon and power will be rediculously expensive but it's St. Trauma.

Re: caribbean marina

On St. Thomas, Independent and Compass Point are in a hurricane hole. Our 6' 5" keel kissed the mud at low tide in the channel. For a 40' monohull, we paid $660 per month ++ electric and water at Independent in 2016. There are a couple of other options near there, but check the depths. We are in Frenchtown Marina now for $550 per month ++, but will haul at Independent August-October. Depth is no problem there. Prices go up from there at AYH, Compass Point and Yacht Haven Grande.

Puerto Rico is close by. Check out Puerto Del Rey and the Fajardo marinas.

Cheers, RickG

We buy dinghy fuel at Saga Haven, nice people. We cannot get our 6' 5" keel near there. Its pretty shallow on that side of the lagoon. Oasis Cove has some slips with decent depth. They had at least one Jeanneau 50 in there.

Re: caribbean marina

Rick G. I thought Frenchtown was strictly CYOA Charters. They have private docks too? Thanks for the information.

Frenchtown Marina is managed by CYOA. Our boat is commingled with charter yachts. The staff is great. Access to Frenchtown restaurants is a big plus over Independent.
