With the decent exchange rates currently available, it would seem to be pretty good value for anyone with USD saved to buy with the lower EUD at the moment. I had thought this would be accomplished by picking up a new or used yacht in
Europe, but there is another option,buying in countries that use EUD as there currency, including
Martinique,
Guadeloupe etc. being so close to the
USA some of these countries base their pricing in USD even though they are using EUD. Most cruisers however are returning to or have returned to
Europe and want their
price in euros. Now might be a good time to take advantage of the situation to secure a yacht for next season. Most yachts are berthed for the upcoming
hurricane season, or about to be so sellers would be negotiable when taking that into account.
