Buyers brokers for Caribbean?

Can anyone point out any reputable buyers brokers in the Caribbean?

How about, can anyone point me in the right direction to find a list of buyer's brokers in the Caribbean?

We are a family of 5 - ready to buy a catemaran to cruise the Pacific back to Australia in 2013. We are interested in 4 cabin/2 head versions.

I would like to find someone who can do some leg work for me before I arrive in the Caribbean in July. Can anyone give some advice as to how to find such a person?

Hi, Loz.

The Caribbean is a pretty big place. Which island are you headed for? You'll have a better chance of getting useable advice if you can be more specific.

Also, the link in my sig line is a custom Google search feature you can use to comb through the CF archives. Good luck finding a boat!

Thanks Hud, the google link is helpful. I'm happy to fly to any location to look at boats.

Based on my searches so far I would be better off going to St Martin and Martinique to find ex-charter cats through brokers - they seem to have the biggest range for sale a the moment.

However, are there Buyers Broker's out there who will look for a boat in advance for a buyer? This is what I'm hoping for... someone who will check out say 6 boats and offer their opinion, so when I fly out I can directly look at one or two boats and make a decision.

Can anyone help with finding me one? Or point me in the right direction...
