WARNING: YOU CAN'T TAKE ANYTHING BACK TO BOATER'S WORLD!

And most of the manufacturer's they sold require you to return defective product to the retailer. Zodiac has just released the steps you have to take to activate their waranty on boats you might buy from there.

The liquidators bought all the Boater's World stock, with a single check, for something like 38 cents on the retail dollar. A few employees from each store were hired by the liquidator because they know where stuff is. Every price in the store was raised to MSRP the night before the sales started, and huge boxes of low quality crap were hauled in from somewhere and litter the store floors. Unless you know exactly what you want and how much it would cost from somewhere else, (and have a lot of sales resistance to hype and general feeding frenzy) you won't respect yourself the next morning!

Bottom paint was cheaper at Defender this week.

That's interesting. I certainly observed something fishy about the pricing. There's also a lot of bait and switch on prices going on at the register and I heard half a dozen complaints while I was in the store. The employees give a shrug and a nervous look on their faces tells me they know exactly what's what.
