Non-Americanadian Cruisers

For the Interview With A Cruiser project, I'm looking to reach out to more non-American, non-Canadian cruisers who are Anglophones and also to reach out to cruisers who are not Anglophones via volunteer translators.

Does anyone have any connections via other forums, groups, friends, friends-of-friends that could help me broaden the interviewee base?

I interview anyone who has been cruising outside of their home country for more than 2 years, whether they are still cruising or finished. Anyone can volunteer themselves or send me contacts to friends. Although I'm searching out ways to reach non-Americanadians on this thread I'm definitely interested in them as well.

I have French covered if you know of a French speaking cruiser but don't speak French. Otherwise I'm not fluent enough in anything to interview directly and would love help.

Thanks in advance for any help. I'm really at a road block here so anything you can think of would be helpful. I'll follow up on any leads.

Cheers, Livia

Hey Livia
I totally forgot about our Brazilian friends who went around the world with 3 teenage kids and a dog. They speak English (enough anyhow) to be interviewed. Remind me and I will try to find their current contact info later today along with their web site (which is in Portuguese, but has fabulous photos)

Email me later to remind me (pregnancy brain rules my life at the moment!)

You can probably PM MarkJ on this forum - he and Nicole are out there 'walkin the walk'. Shouldn't be too hard to find an Aussie/American translator either

I know! And I spelled the boat name wrong once. Both fixed now.

Cindy - Will do! Thanks for all of the suggestions you've already given as well.

Lodesman - Thank you...will look into it.
