Jimmy Cornell's Books

I found "World Cruising Routes" by Jimmy Cornell in a used book store, and am working my way through the early chapters. It appears to be a great book, with the basics of weather, information on weather and wind on each ocean, and some generic cruising advice.

The routes are provided with waypoints, some advice on guidebooks, and of course, when to make the trip.

Are you familiar with the book? Have you found better? Which advice do you like or have a problem with?

Have you reviewed others by him? Has anybody got "World Cruising Handbook" or "World Cruising Essentials"? What is your opinion? What books would successfully compete with these?
