Cruising Guidebook for Mazatlan to Acapulco ??

Can anyone suggest a great cruising guide for mainland Mexico's Pacific coast? Thanks!

In my opinion the best cruising guide for this area, by far, is the Bansmeer and Breeding Cruiser's Guidebook for Pacific Mexico, which has been available from Blue Latitude Press on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Pacific-Mexic...0163484&sr=8-1

It covers the Pacific Coast from Mazatlan south and has the most excellent charts available anywhere. I've scanned these charts for use with OpenCPN but I've heard that they are available in digital format for some systems.

I have a signed copy.

They also have a cruiser's guidebook to Sea of Cortez.

No question: the Blue Latitude cruising guides mentioned in #1 are by far the best.

Blue Latitude Charts are available from O-Charts, as are official Mexico SEMAR vector charts.

Blue Latitude waypoints available as gpx files from Blue Latitude directly.

Thank you. I am glad to know the same authors have written the next book I need. I have been using their Sea of Cortez guide.

Hope I can find it in La Paz.

You might also want to get the pat Raines book, it’s got some good information.
