Walrus Hydronic Heater

Has anyone installed a Walrus 9000C coolant heater on their boat: https://generalcomponents.ca/product...oolant-heater/.

Considering installing this on my 44 three cabin sailboat. Just wondering if I'll be sorry or happy.

That one seems expensive for a 9kw coolant heater and it's probably just a chinese knock off.

Looked the other day for some chinese 10kw coolant heaters and they were running ~$350 + delivery (~$500 total) from china. Amazon has a similar 10kw for $620 less 5% (extra coupon = ~$589).

This is the one I looked at and it was $510US w/delivery charges.

Went back to compare to the Amazon one I mentioned and it appears you could save yourself ~$110 by ordering it yourself and may arrive quicker.

Good do know these are not the cheapest in town. Really looking for feedback from those that have installed one of these.
